A Book And A Mirror - 7

I waited for a long time. and before I knew it, I fell a sleep while sitting.

suddenly, I felt someone grabing me by the collar, and saying something.

I tried waking up myself, but my visual was blur and my ears were numb. and without realising it, I fell a sleep again…

after some time, I opened my eyes, to see myself on the bed. so I got up and sit on the bed, and scanned around me with astonished face.

“(oh…still here hah?. ahhh, Sullivan need three days to go to Gabril, and another three to come back).” 

lets not think about that. what I have to do after going out of here?, and will he let me take the donkey too?. ahhh, I HATE THIS!!!.

while thinking to myself, I heard someone opening the door, and got amazed!!!. but wait, Sullivan can’t go and come back this fast?. so who is this person?!.

I didn’t need to wait to see this person. someone fat opened the door, and put food on a chair beside the door. and when he felt my gaze, he looked towards me, and… wait, is he scared right now?. 

“aaaamm, g-good morning?” 

said the fat guy with scared expression.

wait, this is not what I read about knights!. or, is he a normal worker?. 

as a response to his question, I formed a smile and said,

“good morning, who are you?.” 

“aaaa I-I’m Ridshard, and you?.” 

“I’m Maruthi!” 

Ridshard scanned outside the room, and while going inside slowly, he did close the door. and reached out to a chair, and sit on it.

he looked worried for a while, and eventually said,

“Maruthi, what are you doing here?. why did Sullivan put you inside this room?. a-and…aren’t you scared?. ” 

was it just me?, or was he too good to be in this place?. haha he look really thoughtful.

“ahhh for being honest, I dont really understand anything.” 

“what?. why, what is going on?” 

“its just that…when you are leading a normal life, suddenly something bad happen, and then, put you in a place you wanted to be in, but you were too scared to go in there yourself…” 

“I-I dont understand?” 

“I mean… didn’t you hear my story from Sullivan?.” 

“no, I didn’t. why?. I-I’m starting to feel scared. please tell me what is wrong!!?.” 

“(he makes me want to tell him everything، even the part that this place is inside a book) I was in a forest near my house. and then, I saw a strong radint light. so… I followed it, and by mistake… did go inside it”

“b-but, what about the |put you in a place you wanted to be in, but you were too scared to go in there yourself| part?”

“that… that I want to learn new things, like what it was in the books I did read, like… going adventures, being a knight, being strong to protact who I love… those things but، when this strong light put me in those places… now, I know how every character in the books felt while going in all of their adventures…”

“oh… its alright. those things happen. maybe some mage appeared there, and forget the gate they did cast. then… what is your country name?.”

“my country name!, its-…. (what is my country name again???…did I ever read about my country?. I have to read about it when going back home. but now, what will I say!!!?) …” 

“is something wrong?” 

“its just that… I. don’t. remember…” 

“what?. how can that be?. didn’t you study about your country?!. ” 

“I don’t know… maybe because of what happend after crossing the gate, I did forget…” 

“its okay friend. I’m sure you will remember. but for now, eat your breakfast. ” 

and while saying those words, he did rose from his sit, and got out from the room, and locked the door.
